On day two of the London Book Fair, The Bookseller announced the nominees for literary version of the Oscars: the British Book Awards (also known as the Nibbies).

We're delighted that Sarah Perry's bestseller The Essex Serpent features twice in the shortlists: nominated for both Fiction Book of the Year and also Publicity Campaign of the Year, for the amazing range of press coverage secured by Sarah's publicist, Anna-Marie Fitzgerald.

The Essex Serpent is out in paperback on April 20th. Waterstones revealed their gorgeous exclusive cover with a shiny animated GIF on Twitter yesterday. Have a look here and below!
